Hello!
I'm Adam and Wild Guide is my non-profit passion project.
I'm a Wyre Forest resident, vegetarian, animal lover and general IT enthusiast.
The idea behind Wild Guide first took root in 2012, I wanted to easily find where I could see specific animals up and down the UK, and no such resource outside of Google existed.
As a more specific resource tailored exclusively to animals and animal conservation couldn't be found, I decided to make it.
Wild Guide is being built as a friendly, educational way to find zoos, aquariums, safari parks, sanctuaries, and the animals people can visit there from all across the UK.
My hope is that Wild Guide helps people find and connect with animals, conservation and the joy of nature. The vast majority of parks, zoos and attractions across the UK already are heavily vested into conservation and the care and education of animals.
If by using this site, you are able to find, enjoy and contribute to animal conservation just by visiting a park or zoo you had never heard of before, then I would consider the work I've put into this site as being worth it.
